Privacy policy · Last updated October 7, 2026Privacy is part of the repair.

Technology service can involve sensitive information. Qucin collects only what we need to serve you, uses it to provide that service, and never sells it. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

01

Information we collect

From website forms: your name, phone number, email, device details, the problem you describe, and your service preferences.

At the shop: your contact details, device details (such as model, color, serial number, or IMEI), the device's condition and photos of it at check-in, repair notes, estimates, and your signature on the service agreement. If you give us a device passcode so we can test the repair, it is stored encrypted and used only for that purpose.

Please don't send passwords, PINs, or full payment-card numbers through a website form or email.

02

How we use your phone number and email

We use your phone number and email to respond to your request and to keep you updated about your repair: when we receive your device, estimates that need your approval, parts updates, when it's ready for pickup, and reminders about devices left with us. We also use them to verify your identity when you check repair status online.

We don't use your contact information for marketing unless you ask to hear from us, and we never sell or rent it.

03

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us a mobile number and agree to receive texts, Qucin may send text messages about your repair, such as status updates, estimate approvals, and pickup reminders. These are service messages about your own repair; we don't send marketing texts unless you separately agree to them.

Message frequency varies with your repair. Message and data rates may apply. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase or repair.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or call (423) 438-6600. After you reply STOP, we'll send one message confirming you've opted out, and we'll keep you updated by phone or email instead.

We do not share your mobile number or your text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

04

How we use other information

We use device and repair information to diagnose and repair your device, honor warranties, keep accurate service records, and protect our systems. Customer information is not sent to analytics services.

05

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as website and data hosting, email and text-message delivery, and payment processing, and only as needed to provide our service. We may also share information when the law requires it. Qucin does not sell personal information.

06

Device access and files

Qucin does not browse personal files without a legitimate repair need and your authorization. If we need a passcode to test a repair, we explain why and keep it secure.

07

Remote support

Remote access begins only with your action and permission. You can watch the session and end it at any time. Access stays limited to the support you approved.

08

How long we keep information

We keep repair records as long as we need them for your service, warranty, and our business and legal obligations. If you surrender a device to Qucin or leave it unclaimed under our service agreement, data remaining on it may be erased when the device is recycled, refurbished, or used for parts.

09

Your choices

To see, correct, or delete the contact information we have for you, or to change how we contact you, call (423) 438-6600 or email Info@Qucin.com. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. Some records must be kept for warranty, tax, or legal reasons.

010

Security

We protect information with access controls, encryption for sensitive items like device passcodes, and secure hosting. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send more sensitive information than your repair needs.

011

Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information online.

012

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.

013

Practical customer steps

Back up data when possible, remove unnecessary sensitive information, and sign out of accounts not needed for testing. Do not repeatedly power on a failing storage device.
